Welcome to Day 10 of the Light Your Fire! 30-Day Challenge!  

As you unearth what you’re not happy about and what’s not working in your life around this week’s topic, it can get somewhat uncomfortable.  

If so, you’re right on target!  It’s like when you look at something under a magnifying glass.  You can more easily see all the “imperfections” that you normally can’t with the human eye.  You can also more easily see what’s beautiful, by the way!

The moral is: Whatever you’re experiencing, it’s perfect!  REALLY!  

You may used to focusing on what’s NOT working in your life.  You may be used to seeing only what IS working.  The goal here is to see ALL parts of the complex and beautiful life you’ve created.  

When you see this complete masterpiece that is your life, it’s easier to discover what’s not serving you, and what’s actually helping you.

If you find yourself getting stuck or confused, go back to Day 1 and check out the “Helpful Notes”.

Remember, everything is a process, so be gentle with yourself.

And most of all, remember to HAVE FUN

Step 2: Sizzling Affirmations


Sizzling Affirmations

Your Sizzling Affirmations will keep you motivated and focused throughout the day. They will help you create new possibilities to replace your old and limiting beliefs. You can also use them to find strength if doubt creeps in.

Make them a priority.  Create time first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and as often as possible throughout the day to repeat your affirmations.

Here are this week’s Sizzling Affirmations.  Now say them out loud with passion and gusto!

☆ I am worthy of everything I dream of.
☆ I have the strength, courage, and fortitude to turn my desires into reality.
☆ Yes, I CAN!

Light Your Fire Observation Exercise

Writing Exercise – How do you feel about yourself? 

Take a very honest look at ‘what’ and ‘how’ you think about yourself, and how that shows up in your business and personal life right now.

This Writing Exercise gives you the opportunity to really dig in and peel back the layers of your thoughts, and to see how they’re related to what you create in your life.


Don’t know where to begin? Here are two ways to go about it:

  1. Start with what you feel anything less than ecstatic about. 
  2. Where you feel less than thrilled in your life. Where you feel listless or uninspired. 

Or start the other way around. Write down any negative thoughts you have about yourself.

Then explore what you’re seeing in your life as a result.

For example:

  • You have the belief that you’re a terrible public speaker, and you tell yourself this each time before you speak. How do your presentations usually work out?
  • You believe that you’re not as much of a “go getter” as other people in your business. How is your business going? Are you getting the results you want? 
  • You see that you have a hard time imagining yourself having plenty of money for the lifestyle you want. How are your finances going? Do you see a correlation between the two?
  • You think that you’re overweight and therefore undesirable. How does it go when you’re around people? How do they respond to you? Do you hide? Do you feel not seen for who you really are?
