Step 2: Sizzling Affirmations

 

Sizzling Affirmations

Your Sizzling Affirmations will keep you motivated and focused throughout the day. They will help you create new possibilities to replace your old and limiting beliefs. You can also use them to find strength if doubt creeps in.

Make them a priority.  Create time first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and as often as possible throughout the day to repeat your affirmations.

 

Here are this week’s Sizzling Affirmations.  Now say them out loud with passion and gusto!

☆  I love everyone and everything in my life.
☆  I live the life of my design.
  I CAN have it all!

What would it look like if you “Had It All”? Can you imagine living a life where you Love absolutely everything about it and don’t have to settle for less?

 

 

Step 3: “Light Your Fire!” Practices 

 

Light Your Fire Observation Exercise

Today you’ll skip your observation exercise and  go directly into your writing exercise.  

You’ll explore the contradictions and incongruences in your life—the gaps between the life you’re currently living and the one you’re aching for, the gaps between what you want and what others want from you, and where you compromise.


Writing Exercise — Where are there contradictions in your life right now?

Make a list of the contradictions in your life:

➢ What you love about your life, and what you don’t love

➢ Where you’re inspired, and where you’re resigned

➢ What you currently have, and what you’re longing for

➢ Where you believe you have to choose between things—where you say either/or

For example:

  • You love your business, but don’t love the hours. 
  • You have a thriving business, but your family constantly complains that they don’t get enough of you. 
  • You wish your office was organized and functional, but you lack the discipline to do it. 
  • You want to stay at home with your kids, but can’t imagine how to generate enough income to do so. 
  • You’re taking a trip to San Francisco, but you really want to go to Paris. 
  • You believe that in order to generate big money, your personal life has to suffer, or at least be on the back burner. 
  • I can be wealthy or happy, but not both. 
  • I LOVE to eat fine food, but I don’t because if I do, I’ll wear it tomorrow. 
  • I am in a stable relationship, but there’s no excitement or spontaneity. 

Now compare the list of contradictions you just created with the list you created in yesterday’s practice.

Is the life you’re living now in alignment with the life you really want?

Where are the gaps?
